YCE, Inc. conducted a topographic survey and mapping of a large landslide area for the City of Los Angeles - Pacific Palisades. The landslide was located on a slope above Pacific Coast Highway and a mobile home park. Multi-million dollar homes above, with unobstructed ocean views, were in a precarious position as their street & slope was sliding away from them. 

Survey included:

• Topographical features of the slope

• Street Cross-sections

• Curb, gutters, driveways, ramps and sidewalks

• Pavement areas and fractures in the street

• Catch basins, manholes, and fire hydrants.

• Dewatering wells

• Power poles and overhead utilities

• Above ground utilities
