YCE, Inc., in a joint venture with Sean McGrath, prepared Agricultural Grading & Drainage designs for the development of a 300-acre avocado ranch in Fillmore.

The newly designed drainage system included installing vegetative control methods per Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) standards and currently accepted engineering practices.

Specifically the project entailed designing 5,600+ lineal feet of agricultural and contour roads, over 7,000 lineal feet of drainage diversions, and 1,100+ lineal feet of storm drain pipe, including an Arizona crossing with determinations of Critical Area Plantings & Cover Crops.

The YCE, Inc. team also provided Hydrology & Hydraulic Calculations via reports and system maps, showing watershed area limits and the erosion control system designed to handle the calculated runoffs.
